The Argentine Association of Private Equity, Entrepreneurship, and Seed Capital (ARCAP) is a non-profit entity with the objective of promoting the private equity industry in the country. It seeks to enhance the mobilization of local investment in high-impact companies at an economic, social, and environmental level. It is composed of a group of private investors motivated to foster the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Argentina. Some of ARCAP's key activities are: 1. Contributing to the growth of economic activity in Argentina through the development of the local private equity industry and its integration into international markets. 2. Promoting investments in different sectors of Argentina. 3. Generating and disseminating studies on the impact of the private equity industry on the local economy and its current state. 4. Facilitating collaboration between industry initiatives and the public sector. 5. Encouraging the adoption of best practices with ethical and professional standards that facilitate the participation of foreign institutional investors in Argentina.
Founded in 2000, ABVCAP (Brazilian Association of Private Equity and Venture Capital) is a non-profit institution that promotes long-term investment in Brazil. Over its 12 years of operation, ABVCAP has been instrumental in promoting best practices aligned with international industry standards and has served as a facilitator in fostering relationships among members of the long-term investment community in Brazil.
ABVCAP has over 200 members representing key players in the private equity and venture capital industry, including major Brazilian pension funds, domestic and international managers, service providers, among others.
AMEXCAP is a non-profit association whose mission is to foster the development of the private equity industry in Mexico. The Association was created in 2003 and currently represents 128 Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Infrastructure funds that actively invest in Mexico and over 60 advisory service companies involved in the areas of corporate law, tax advisory, financial services, and consulting. AMEXCAP’s members have raised a cumulative $58.2 billion USD over the past ten years and have invested in a broad range of sectors such as real estate, media and telecom, wholesale and retail trade, financial services, healthcare, transportation, business services, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
In the last 3 years, Bolivia has undergone an evolution of its ecosystem, with several organizations now actively working with Bolivian entrepreneurial talent. As a result, startups are beginning to attract investment from venture capital funds. Therefore, it is the opportune moment for Bolivia to integrate into the Latin American venture capital community and, through its actions, support the adoption of best practices in specialized investment for startups.
Bocap is the organization that, in coordination with its counterparts such as Parcapy from Paraguay, ACVC from Chile, among others, and allies within the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, aims to be the central hub for connection, education, knowledge source, and specialized organizer in venture capital.
CAPCA is a non-profit organization that brings together agents of the entrepreneurial capital ecosystem. Our goal is to amplify the supply of capital for entrepreneurs in the region.
ColCapital is the Colombian Association of Private Capital. Its mission is to promote and develop the private equity and venture capital industry in Colombia, as well as the participation of the local and international investment community in these sectors.
ColCapital aims to encourage and organize the exchange of ideas and information among its members, providing a forum for discussion on relevant industry topics.
Additionally, ColCapital will strive to support the professional and educational development of the sector.
ECUACAP, the Ecuadorian Association of Private Capital, is a non-profit organization with the aim of strengthening the venture capital and private equity industry in Ecuador.
Our objectives:
• Promote collaboration among private capital funds in Ecuador
• Generate reports on the private capital market in the country
• Educate about the industry to foster a strong ecosystem
• Promote investment opportunities in Ecuador internationally
The Paraguayan Association of Venture Capital (PARCAPY) is a non-profit organization with the mission of promoting and developing the venture capital industry in Paraguay as a dynamic driver of the economy.
The Peruvian Association of Seed Capital and Entrepreneurship brings together entities focused on financing startups or high-impact ventures in their early stages. It is comprised of: BBCS Capital, PAD Red Ángeles, UTEC Ventures, UP4angels, Angel Ventures Peru, Wayra, and Alta Ventures. Our objectives are: 1.Increase the number of investments in seed capital. 2. Generate statistical information on seed capital investments. 3. Promote good practices in angel investment and seed capital. 4. Collaborate with government entities to promote ecosystem growth. 5 Establish coordination protocols among investors. 6. Promote and ensure high ethical standards within the ecosystem.
URUCAP is a non-profit organization that brings together private equity firms, venture capital firms, seed investors, as well as accelerators, incubators, and other key players. Its purpose is to integrate and develop the Private Equity, Venture Capital, and seed investment industry, creating more opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs, with the aim of making a positive impact on the economy and employment in Uruguay.
URUCAP is a space that gathers Uruguay's investment ecosystem, serving as an access point for ventures seeking capital.
The Association for Private Capital Investment in Venezuela. Venecápital is a Venezuelan non-profit civil association, with independent legal personality. It is a non-political and non-religious organization. Its purpose is to promote the common interests of its members, regarding the development of the private capital industry in Venezuela.
